I finished Chapter 11!

I'll try to create self contained chapters from here on out before I dump them. It's just a lot of hard work and I always get too eager to post something all the time. But now I'm cooling down from just finishing chapter 11 and am just relishing the progress I've made on LMBOW. I'm proud I'm brave enough to keep putting this story there into the internet and therefore, the world.

Storytelling is hard work, but you gotta trust your guts and listen to your heart.

But a friendly reminder, that if you don't like someone's work, you can go make your own comics. 

Storytelling is hard as fuck. 

Drawing is hard as fuck.

Instead of someone doing 'relatable auto bio Instagram comics' (a fate worse than death) I've tried to do an original story. It's hard but it is what I'm meant to do.

For as long as I've known, I have been so wound up with being a 'good' artist, to the point of neuroticism. 

I was always needing to get 'better' at art, until my life was changed in 2020. I then was in the slumps for many years.

Only when I started LMBOW did I learn, I still can make art, just in the right way now.

I now loved art for it's storytelling capacities.

My art 'skills' had changed for a purpose, because it was trying to teach me something.

Fine art, fine drawing, is nothing without love to hold it together.

 I finally found the love in myself to laugh at my art without hating myself one iota, which is really big. So laugh at your own art, don't take yourself so seriously. It's easier said than done for someone like me.

Anyways, these days I am less wound up about whether the drawing is 'amazing'. I'm happier with the standard of drawing I'm at. It look be lumpy sometimes, but I like it like that. I'm more than okay with it, I actually prefer it that way.

chapter 11 part 1

The first part of chapter 11 has been added. 

I sat on most of these pages for a month, unsure whether it was good enough. But it is good enough.

I like to update the comic when I feel like it, so you will probably see 11.html update with more pages at a later date. That's how I like to share my work.
